About Us

Asilia Beads was born from a love of heritage, craftmanship, and the untamed beauty of Kenya. Our name 'Asilia' means 'Natural' in Swahili- a reflection of everything we stand for; timeless designs, handmade artistry and honest storytelling. 

Each piece of Asilia Jewlery is crafted by skilled women artisans in Nairobi, using a sustainably sourced clay naturally found in Kenya. Our beads are lovingly hand-shaped, hand-painted, hand-glazed, celevarting the vibrant landscapes, wildlife and spirit of Africa. 

At Asilia Beads, we believe jewlery should do more than adorn- it should connect. Every piece is inspired by a place, memory or a story; the golden grasslands of Mara, the towering elephants of Amboseli, the silent stargazing of Kora and the bold spirit of Nala. 

No two pieces are ever alike- if you like a piece we encrouage you to get it while it is in stock as we may never bring that piece again.
